Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 May 2025 · Effective: 15 May 2025
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Chalad Labs website and your enrolment in our online AI development programmes. Please read them carefully before enrolling or using our services.
1. Definitions
For clarity throughout this document, the following terms carry these meanings:
- "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
- "Service" — the website located at chaladla.blog and all online AI development programmes offered through it.
- "We / Us / Our" — Chalad Labs, operating from 17 Thanon Mittraphap, Nai Muang, Mueang, Nakhon Ratchasima 30000, Thailand.
- "User / You" — any person who visits the website or enrols in a programme.
- "Content" — all text, video, exercises, code samples, and supporting materials made available through the Service.
- "Programme" — any of the structured online learning courses offered by Chalad Labs.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or enrolling in a programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years of age, or have the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, to enrol in any programme. By proceeding, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Thai law.
If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
3. Service Description
Chalad Labs provides online AI development education through three structured programmes:
- Intro to AI & Programming — a foundation-level programme introducing programming concepts and core AI principles.
- Data Science Essentials — an intermediate programme covering data analysis, visualisation, and machine learning workflows.
- Advanced AI Development — an in-depth programme on building, evaluating, and deploying AI models responsibly.
All programmes are delivered online through recorded sessions, written materials, exercises, and guided projects. Programme content, pace, and structure are described in detail on the relevant programme pages before enrolment.
We aim to keep the Service available consistently, but access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. We will communicate planned downtime where reasonably possible.
4. User Accounts
Enrolment requires you to create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.
You must notify us promptly at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. We cannot be held responsible for losses resulting from unauthorised access where you have not taken reasonable steps to protect your credentials.
Your account is personal. Programme access is for your individual use only and may not be shared with or transferred to another person.
5. User Responsibilities
When using the Service, you agree to behave with integrity and consideration for others. In particular, you must not:
- Copy, distribute, or reproduce course materials outside of personal study use.
- Share, resell, or make available your account access to any third party.
- Submit work that is not your own without clearly identifying the contribution of others.
- Harass, mislead, or behave disrespectfully toward mentors, staff, or fellow learners.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or other users' accounts.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
- Introduce malware, spam, or other disruptive material through the platform.
We may suspend or close accounts where these responsibilities are not met, following reasonable notice where circumstances allow.
6. Intellectual Property
All Content available through the Service — including videos, written materials, code samples, exercises, and design elements — is owned by Chalad Labs or its licensed contributors and is protected under applicable intellectual property law.
Upon enrolment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use programme materials for your own personal learning. This licence does not permit you to reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any Content.
Work you produce independently during a programme — such as project code or written reflections — remains your own. By sharing any work within programme channels, you grant Chalad Labs a limited licence to display or reference it for educational purposes, without any obligation on our part to compensate you.
7. Payment Terms
Programme fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are payable in full at the time of enrolment unless a different arrangement has been confirmed in writing by Chalad Labs.
We accept payment through the methods displayed at checkout. You are responsible for ensuring that payment details are accurate and that sufficient funds are available.
Refund policy: You may request a full refund within 7 days of enrolment, provided you have not accessed more than 20% of the programme content. After this period, or once the threshold has been passed, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected].
Prices are subject to change. Any increase will not affect enrolments that have already been paid for.
8. Enrolment Terms
On successful payment, you will receive confirmation of your enrolment and details of how to access the programme. Access is typically activated within one business day.
Each programme has a recommended completion period, which is set out on the programme page. Extensions may be granted where you have encountered genuine difficulties — please contact us to discuss your situation.
Completion of a programme is based on finishing the required modules and assessments. Any completion acknowledgement issued is a record of your participation and does not constitute a formal academic qualification or professional credential.
We maintain standards of academic integrity. Work submitted for feedback must be your own. Where we reasonably suspect that submitted work has not been completed honestly, we may withhold or withdraw completion acknowledgements.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we take care in preparing our programmes, we do not warrant that the Content is free from inaccuracies or that it will meet every learner's specific expectations.
Learning outcomes depend on many factors including your prior experience, time invested, and application of the material. We do not make any representations about specific results, employment outcomes, salary changes, or career progression that you may or may not achieve after completing a programme.
Our programmes are educational in nature and do not constitute professional advice in any regulated field.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Chalad Labs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including but not limited to loss of earnings, lost data, or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from this Agreement shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the relevant programme in the six months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for matters that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Thai consumer protection law.
We are not responsible for events outside our reasonable control, including disruption to internet infrastructure, natural disasters, or government actions that affect our ability to provide the Service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chalad Labs, its staff, and representatives from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third party's rights.
We will notify you promptly of any such claim and may, at our option, assume control of the defence. You agree to cooperate reasonably in any such process.
12. Termination
You may close your account and withdraw from a programme at any time. Refunds following withdrawal are governed by the refund policy in Section 7.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, engage in conduct that disrupts the learning environment, or if we have reason to believe your account has been compromised. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue before taking action.
On termination, your licence to use programme materials ends. Provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should continue beyond termination — including payment obligations, intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will remain in effect.
13. Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand.
Before initiating any formal proceeding, we encourage you to contact us directly at [email protected] so that we may attempt to resolve the matter informally. We aim to respond to all concerns within 10 business days.
If informal resolution is not possible, either party may refer the dispute to mediation through a mutually agreed Thai mediator before pursuing litigation.
14. General Provisions
Entire Agreement: This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitutes the entire understanding between you and Chalad Labs regarding the Service.
Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision in the future.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a business transfer or restructuring.
Notices: Formal notices to Chalad Labs should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to the address in Section 16. We will communicate with you at the email address you provided during registration.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where changes are significant, notify enrolled learners by email.
Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with a revision, you may close your account and we will handle any refund in accordance with Section 7.
